In society throughout history everyone wants to make it to the “top”. Whether it be getting a the girl or that job promotion. It seems humans will resort to primal instincts in their struggle to the “top”. Throughout my life I have found the struggle for the top to be a sometimes respectful struggle, BUT only if done in honest means. I see throwing a close friend under the bus as one of the lowest forms of human action. In modern society I don’t think there are many you can trust, but of all people friends and immediate family should be able to to be trusted. In the end doing something in order to gain respect of others or something else will leave you wanting more and most likely the loss of a close friendship. To gamble with friendships would seem to be preposterous as they are one the most valued things in history. Just a thought in my head which I hope people will consider.
